Accounting Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

A growing Southern California-based construction and real estate development company is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support the financial management of a fast-paced project environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to step into management or an Accounting Manager looking for a highly visible role reporting directly to the CEO.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily accounting operations and manage an Accounting Clerk (AP)
- Lead month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity and reconciliations
- Support cash flow management and accounting process improvements
- Assist with accounting cleanup projects and implement best practices
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting
- Work within QuickBooks, Excel, and the company's proprietary ERP/project management system
What We're Looking For
- Fluent Mandarin and English required
- Strong QuickBooks experience required
- Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Construction, real estate development, architecture, or design industry experience is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal guidance
- Process improvement mindset and willingness to recommend new ideas
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of automation or AI tools a plus
